*Cough*

I’m still sick… Moving into to loosing-my-voice stage. Hopefully I will be well before our early Thursday morning plane ride to California. Bah. I wasn’t really stressing about the trip, since it had been planned a while ago, but this morning I found out our good friend and house-sitter has several conflicts while we are away. She is awesome and the animals love her, and she gave some possible solutions. We aren’t comfortable with China going anywhere while we are gone, and don’t want our friend to have to suffer just because she is doing us a favor, so we are doing some last minute scrambling to fill in the holes.

I went to the dentist yesterday, despite my cold. It went well. No cavities, and I was praised for all the brushing and flossing I do. Because of all that and the fact that I go twice a year, I never have to go through that scrapey-teeth thing dentists do. One swipe between each tooth to check them, and I’m good.

Today I am working from home to avoid spreading my plague and to allow for doing laundry. Fun times.

No update about Benji last night. I need to write her today and ask how he did in his first snow….

I like the dress you bought! I think the sandals look great with it.

Braiding sounds like a lot of work, do you think you’ll ever go back to having unbraided hair? I don’t think I’d have the patience to keep up with it.
