Baby Jax is 6 months old!

Six months??!? How did that happen?!
Jax has grown so much in the past month. He weighs 16 lbs 11 oz and is
27" long. He is 45% for his weight and has jumped up to 75% for his
height. His dark hair is falling out and new, sandy blond hair is
growing in on top. We just gave him his first haircut to take off the
mullet of old, dark hair that was stick around his neck.
He is still breastfed, but we have now begun to introduce him to
solids. For the next few months, mealtime will mostly be about
exploring new tastes and textures. More ends up on him than in him,
but he is getting the hang of it! His favorites are avocado, banana
and melon.
Jax loves going to baby yoga every week. He has fun jumping in his
jumperoo and tries to crawl when on his tummy. He is starting to sit
without assistance for a few seconds before tipping over. He loves to
be helped to stand.
He just keeps getting cuter every day!

5 Months Old

Jax is 5 months (20 weeks) old! He now weighs over 15 lbs and is 25" long. He had lost all the hair on the top of his head, but now it’s growing back much lighter.
He recently started rolling over both ways, which is making getting him to bed interesting. He’s in the early stages of teething, and everything goes in his mouth. He loves to smile and laugh, and he recently learned to squeal.
We love him so much!
4 Months Already?!

I can’t believe little Jax is 4 months old already! And the "little" guy had a growth spurt and now is 14lbs 7oz and 24.75" long. He is still exclusively breast fed, so it’s great he has gained so well! We are blessed that that has gone so well.
Jackson now:
"Talks" all the time.
Grabs and holds toys or anything you hand him.
Has started rolling over from back to tummy.
Laughs and smiles – even at strangers.
Sit up with a little help.
We are loving every second with him! We have started introducing him to art and music. He made his first painting for his daddy using his feet. And he loves this music we’ve found by Rockabye Baby that takes rock music and turns it into lullabies. We need to collect them all!
Jax is now half bald. Poor guy has been going bald like a little old man – from the front backwards. But he has the cutest pale peach fuzz growing in!
The last 4 months have been a blur! Someone slow down time!

My Current Hair

Ignore that I’m exhausted and have no makeup on! And that I need to wash my hair…
Yeah, no braids… I have to be able to redo my hair in one evening now that I have a baby. This style has wavy plastikhaar added in for fullness and length. I found some leftovers in the basement. My natural hair had been wavy lately, so this blends better.
